Holy Mother’s Academy celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with great enthusiasm, patriotism and pride on 15th August 2026. The school premises came alive with the spirit of freedom as students, teachers and parents gathered to commemorate this historic occasion.
The celebration began with the flag hoisting ceremony by the respected Principal, Sir, Pabitra Acharya, followed by the National Anthem. Addressing the gathering, the Principal shared inspirational words on patriotism, unity, discipline and responsible citizenship. He encouraged the students to value the freedom earned through the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and to contribute positively towards building a strong and progressive India.
The programme was followed by a grand cultural extravaganza presented by the talented students of Holy Mother’s Academy. The students captivated the audience with a colourful array of patriotic songs, dances, speeches, skits and cultural performances, beautifully portraying the rich cultural heritage, unity and diversity of our nation.
The performances reflected the students’ creativity, confidence and love for the motherland. The atmosphere resonated with patriotic fervour as the young performers brought alive the message of “Unity in Diversity” and reminded everyone of their duties towards the nation.
The celebration concluded by Vice Principal Sir Hari Gopal Dasondhi with heartfelt appreciation for the students and teachers whose dedicated efforts made the programme memorable and meaningful. The Independence Day celebration at Holy Mother’s Academy was not merely an event but a beautiful reminder that the future of India lies in the hands of its young citizens.
